WebDAV

WebDAV (Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is a set of extensions to the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) that allows user agents to collaboratively edit content directly on an HTTP server, which may act as a file server. With WebDAV, an account can be connected as a remote drive so that files can be browsed, uploaded, downloaded, and managed from standard file manager applications on desktop and mobile devices.
